FS Roscoe LG3004 - no trades

This bass has been lovingly cared for and is in excellent shape. It has an amazing spalted maple top, and a striking smoked ebony board. An interesting story, it was custom ordered, and we went back and forth on the color several times. It is faded blue jean, and the question was how it would come out on the spalted maple. As you can see, it is stunning.

There are hardly any marks on the bass. It has been gigged but always handled very carefully. It is an amazing example of Keith Roscoe's craftsmanship, and with the smoked ebony board, stands out immediately as a Roscoe even from a distance.
This model is an LG 3004.
Here are the specs as completely as I know for right now, feel free to ask any questions:
- Spalted Maple top
- Mahogany body
- Faded blue jean finish
- Bartolini p/u's
- 34" scale
- Standard string spacing (18mm at bridge)
- Wedge neck
- Black hardware
- Roscoe case, which is the soft shelled square case, not on the website anymore
- approx weight is 8.8 lbs on my bathroom scale
- Price $1500 plus shipping

This bass (LG-3000, not 3004, which is the fretless version) is one of the sickest things I've ever seen, at an amazing price, from a seller who clearly knows great basses. Please someone buy this very soon so I am not tempted. (Think I'll be ok. Hard to see this lasting the night.)

Hey, not to be a buttinski, but you're 50% correct: any Custom series bass with 4 strings is a "3000", the "...4" doesn't exist at all. If it's a fretless, we just say it's fretless.

Oh, and the standard string spacing at the bridge on a 4 string Roscoe is 19mm or 3/4". The 18.3mm is for 5 and 6.

Congrats to whoever bought this one, by the way, I remember it!! Stunning bass in every way.
