Serial #3243
Top: Exhibition Quilt Maple
Body: Swamp Ash
Bart 2-band Pre
Fingerboard: Bolivian Rosewood
In pretty much pristine condition. There are two tiny dings that are the only blemishes. One is on the edge of the fingerboard at around the 9th fret. About 1/8" but doesn't affect playability. The other is on the body around the master volume knob, also about 1/8". I've tried to show them in pictures but they are very difficult to see from more than a few inches. Other than that this bass is in great shape. The playability is outstanding and the B-string sound is out of this world.
Looking for $1900 $1800 $1700 shipped to lower 48. Comes with and will be shipped in Roscoe soft-shell case.
Let me know if you have any questions. Probably not looking for any trades unless it is a similarly priced jazz.
Thanks!

That might make it appear as such. I can take more pictures if this is a real concern but I've certainly never had any playability issues with the bass.
Thanks for the compliment! |

Maybe Gard might be willing to chime in on this? |

That one has the scarf joint for the angled headstock and the Wilkinson bridge so it's an older model but still a top end Roscoe from the same era as my first Roscoe.
Also the Wilkinson bridge has sliding bridge saddles so the string spacing is fully adjustable.
Bump for a killer bass! |

But to give my $.02:
This is an LG 3005, what we would call a "Custom" now, not an LG 2005 (the "old" version of the flat top), or a Standard/Standard Plus (the "new" version of the flat top).
The center of the neck is indeed Purpleheart, it has just darkened a bit from being played a lot over years. |
