This is the hottest, brightest sounding basses I have ever owned. I am putting it on the block so I can have some funds to do some modifications in my kitchen. I will trade for only one thing: A Thermadore SGSX365FS Masterpiece™ 36” Stainless steel gas cooktop 5 Burner. If you have one of them (Don't know why you would) That is it. Otherwise $1800.
Specs:
Buckeye Burl top $600 upgrade
Alder body (less mid sounding than Ash)
Maple/Purpleheart/Maple neck
Purpleheart/Sapwood fingerboard
Highly sought after Demeter Preamp $250 upgrade
New Bart Classic Pickups $250 (have original as well)
Hipshot Bridge
Gotoh Tuners
8.5 pounds of pure tone
I bought it from Crash Clint about a year ago. I have 10 basses now and I think I can spare one so I can have a better cooking environment... |

| | | | Im based on Long Island. Can I come and see and play the bass per chance? Played an Elrick and loved it. Just having looked on google maps, maybe a visit is out of the question. Its 360 miles! You ever in the city?

Come on up to Rochester. Home of the House of Guitars. More vintage items you could ever see in one place, if ever.
Plus, it is grape season up here. We can kill a bottle while you pluck! |

I can vouch for the Rosoce Demeter preamp. I've got one in my Roscoe 3005 and it's by far my favorite. Killer slap tone, sweet mids that politely growl, smooth lows and glassy highs.
Good luck with the sale! |

BTW, a lot of questions on the scale, it is a 35". Also, Clint, who I bought it from, told me that that is a rare full top on it. |

The combination of the Roscoe Barts, Demeter Preamp and Alder body just makes this bass sing. The slap sound is really sweet, roll back the treble to 11 o'clock and it is almost like stepping back into the 70's.
Some lucky TBer is going to get a sweet bass. If I didn't just buy my CS Plus, this bass would have not made it onto TB. As soon as Mrs. Crash finishes with her conference call I will slither into her office and do some groveling and begging. Quote:
