SOLD

hey all,

selling my very lonely LG3005. been sitting in the corner of the studio, and made me realize i'm NOT an "unlined" kinda guy. so it has little to NO wear on the impenetrable diamondwood fretboard. body weight is very light, too, as requested and ordered. other than that, there are no blemishes, marks, etc. to speak of. give it a good home!!!

click picture for more photos:

specs:
- LG shape
- swamp ash body
- unlined diamondwood/maple fingerboard
- standard multi-piece roscoe neck
- 5A Quilt Maple top in Natural Gloss
- matching headstock
- black hipshot ultralite tuners
- Aguilar 2 band onboard pre
- included black softshell flightcase.

asking $1450 and will include shipping to the lower 48!

thx and good luck!

SOLD

the maple diamondwood is not nearly as brittle sounding.

FYI, none of the fretless basses i've owned had an ebony board. not really a fan of the stuff. again, ebony for my ears has always had a hard brittle tone, that no matter the body wood, i could never dial it out.

the maple, on the other hand, is quite smooth sounding with a nice open airy top end. IMHO, its a terrific fretless material when coupled with the nearly indestructible "diamondwood". i was really bummed that Keith cant redo the neck w/ fretlines, due to the tough nature of the board.

but my loss is another's "unlined" gain.

What an exceptionally beautiful piece, even for a Roscoe.
Killer price, too.

WOW!!

You're absolutely right on the ebony vs. maple!! If this only had 6 my search would be over! Must really think about this - it's WAY too pretty and since it's a Roscoe - it's THE sound!

I just wanted to know if you will ship to Europe (via Fedex express, air shipping eco) ? Of course I would pay for this shipment.

Bump for a beauty of a Roscoe. Man, I love mine. You'd love yours too if this were yours.
