FS - Roscoe SKB 3006

Sign in to disble this ad
Roscoe SKB-3006 in excellent condition.
Very focused sounding, even across all strings, great lows, mids and highs, and a beautiful quilted maple top that looks different depending on the light.
There is nothing to not like about this bass!

Sorry, I'm not sure what year this is, although I'm sure someone at Roscoe could do a lookup based on the serial number, which is 5140.

I thought I had a HSC for this one, but I can't find it, so I would have to ship it with a gig bag instead.

Here are the rest of the specs:

SKB 3006
Exhibition Quilt Maple top
Swamp Ash body
Cobalt Blue finish
Bart 3-band preamp
Bart/Roscoe pickups
Bolivian Rosewood fingerboard
Ivory nut
Black hardware

Thanks,
Jordan

Wow, wow, and wow! I wouldn't have guessed cobalt blue based on the shots of the body, but....wow!

Folks, this is a ridiculously screamin' price on a magnificent instrument. Nothing plays like a Roscoe, and this combination of woods and electronics is, IMO, totally the sweetspot for the signature sound. Somebody buy this beautiful bass!

Yea, it looks a little on the black side there. I'm thinking about it.

I spent a day playing all kinds of Roscoe's last summer and came to the conclusion that the SKB was a KILLER bass. The LG and Century are VERY nice, but the SKB seemed to have it all. The necks are so sweet.

I would say this is a great deal on a very nice bass. Good luck.

Do you have any other pics for color accuracy? It doesn't look Cobalt Blue to me.

I feel that first picture is a good representation of the color in different shades of light (since the headstock is in direct light, and the body is in the shade).
