FS: Ruby Red Rickenbacker 4003 *mint*

A bass has popped up that I want. I want it more than the Ric, which is saying something because I love the Ric.

I bought this bass a month or so ago and it's been in my home, haven't had a chance to take it out yet. It's a great bass, weighs in at 9.4 pounds and is quite the looker (and player) comes with the treble bezel as well. This is one of the only Ric's I have seen where there aren't any noticeable flaws. It came the way all Ric's should; Playable, lightweight, and awesome!

If the bass that I want sells, this will come down.

Looking for 1550.00 shipped/paypal'd CONUS.

Here are some pictures.

Thanks!

Dan

Yup it's a great bass. I'm sure I'll regret it, but I don't think i'll regret it as much as the bass I let go a few years ago. It's a win/lose situation no matter what happens. If it sells, I wind up losing a great bass and gaining a great bass. If it doesn't, I wind up losing a great bass and keeping a great bass

I went to Bass pro shop and to my surprise they didn't have a single bass guitar.

I would never suggest anyone buy a Ric without spending time with one first. For many it's a love/hate thing. They hold their value, so if you buy one and don't like it, they are relatively easy to sell, but it's still a hassle.

I spent some time playing with this one tonight and I'm torn with it. I'm trying to remember why I let the bass I'm GASing for go, because I honestly don't want this one to go anywhere.

Yeah I'm keeping this one. Thanks for the PM's and interest; it's off the market.
