Arrow FS: Sadowsky 5-string Jazz bass

My original thread got too old to edit, so I'm starting a new thread. I apologize for the wait for those who asked for pictures. Honestly, I didn't really want to speed up the sale of this bass. However, necessity dictates that I make a serious effort to raise some cash at this point.

I picked this up in a trade a from a fellow TB'er. It's my first Sadowsky and I've wanted one for quite awhile to see what all the fuss is about. Well, now I completely understand - it's an amazing instrument that I would love to keep but times are just too tight for me to justify keeping a herd of expensive basses around.

So, here it is:

* Sadowsky MS5
* Ash body with sunburst finish
* Maple neck and fretboard
* Sadowsky single coil pickups
* Sadowsky preamp with VTC (vintage tone control), 2-band EQ and passive mode
* 34" scale
* 21 frets
* Gold anodized pickguard custom made by Jeanie's Pickguards
* Includes Sadowsky soft case.

I'd call it excellent condition, looks mint unless you looks really close - there's a short hairline scratch in the finish on the top of the upper horn and a small ding on the top of the headstock. I could not get the scratch to photograph. There are some small scratches on the pickguard near the pickup cover. I included a photo of these.

I could easily go on about the effortless playability, top-notch construction and that signature Sadowsky tone that sits so perfectly in in just about any mix but there's plenty of that in countless threads on these forums, so I'll leave it at that.

I'm asking $1850 plus actual shipping costs.

Thanks for looking.

Please excuse my unkempt lawn - my gardener hasn't shown up in a month and my lawnmower is on permanent loan to my mother.

In the first photo, the pickguard is catching direct sunlight, lighting it up so it looks almost white. The third photo is a good representation of what it looks like outside of direct sunlight.
