FS: SADOWSKY 5 string Jazz Bass...NYC SOLD!!

Sign in to disble this ad
You know how the "GAS" thing hits! Well, I am planning a new Sadowsky purchase and want to liquidate some of my arsenal that is not seeing much use. I want to offer it to our fellow TB'ers before putting out on Ebay, etc..

Up for sale is my 59 burst String Sadowsky Jazz bass (2001) with Maple fingerboard. (NYC OF COURSE!!) This is a GREAT Player....there are a few minor things that keep it from calling it "MINT", but none that are affecting playing or visuals.
Here are the particulars:

FINISH | '59 Burst
BODY | Quilted Maple on Swamp Ash
FINGERBOARD | Maple, 12" Radius, 1 7/8" Nut Width
PICKGUARD | None
HARDWARE | Chrome
PICKUPS | Sadowsky Humcancelling
WEIGHT | 8.00 lbs. (3.63 kg)
PREAMP | Sadowsky Preamp without Vintage Tone Control

It has a set of "Black Label" Sadowsky round wound SS strings on it....The bass PLAYS and SOUNDS Great!!! Includes a NEW Sadowsky hard travel case.

Will sell it for $2500 which will include ground shipping (UPS) anywhere in CONUS. If it is being shipped out of USA , I will ask YOU to pay for the shipping.

60's spacing

I measured and it is 3" from bridge saddle to the center of the pickup. I believe that is what is considered "60's spacing"

My goodness.

If I had something like that and had to sell it to satisfy an acquisition urge, the new arrival would have to be warm to the touch and have moving parts.

It has been shipped...SOLD

I have to say that this must have been the fastest transaction ever. Payment received and bass is on the way to South Carolina. I trust it is going to a great home.
