FS: Sadowsky #5226 | Vintage 24-Fret 4-String
You can read the specs on the Sadowsky website:
http://www.sadowsky.com/stock/view/5226.html
This is an incredible sounding and looking bass. Flamed maple top, Madagascar rosewood fingerboard and extremely light at 7.15 lbs. Perfectly set-up and ready to go.
It’s in excellent condition, only a tiny bit of playing wear visible on the pickguard and no dings *Edit: I did find ony tiny dent on the bottom edge of the bass - it's not through the finish and I can't get it to show up in a photo* – I’d give it a 9.8 or 9.9/10.
For the sake of full disclosure, the case has a bit of wear and three of the screws are missing as seen in the photo below. The zipper also has suffered a bit of trauma on the left corner. It will be a non-issue for most, but I thought I’d point it out =)
I’m only selling this because the gigs I am doing these days all require me to play a 5’er – I have another 5-string Sadowsky on the way so something has to go. I love Sadowsky basses and you really can’t go wrong with a bass like this.
This bass is for sale only! No trades please. $3300 + actual shipping costs, price is firm. Preferred method of payment would be PayPal eCheck. Thanks for looking.

24 frets.....only a few less notes that a 6 string.....
And drop a D-Tuner with their new Double Stop lever and ONE note less than a 5 string.
Wish I had the dough......

The light weight is a great feature, especially when considering how versatile the bass is tonally. It is a fantastic bass. |
