FS Sadowsky M5-24 $1650 shipped

Sign in to disble this ad
I bought this here on talkbass back in April and used it a few times but I'm an Xotic endorser and I'm playing their 5 all the time now and don't have a need for this one.

It's very light, although I don't know the exact weight. Includes Dunlop strap lock buttons that were installed when I got it. It's in very good shape with only some very small dents, swirls from normal play that were also there previously. Nothing that would show up in photos and certainly nothing that would be considered major.

This is the first Metro Sadowsky I've owned and it definitely in the same league as the NYC models in terms of sound and playability.

$1650 shipped in con US in the original Sadowsky hard/soft case.

NYC area if you prefer local pickup or want to check it out.

pics from the person I purchased it from:

What are the controls? Is there a VTC on it? Active & passive or just active?

This shouldn't be here very long! What do you like about Xotic basses versus the Sadowsky?

A Groove is a Terrible Thing to Waste!

I like the Xotic basses because I have a modern style 6-st and some of their jazz style basses as well so they make the whole range of basses that I need and it's a great company to work with...
I use their pedals as well, all great stuff.

I'm going hid this a Sadowsky love bump. If you have any interest at all in the "modern" tone, this is a KILLER price to get into one of these.

These things sound great and play like a dream!

Double bump. My Metro R5-24 continues to have the best B-string of any 34" I've ever played, including some NYC Sadowskys...

Is this bass sold? I hate when people don't close threads!
