Re-listing my Sadowsky MV 4.
Description on Sadowsky.com; Quote: |
Our Vintage Series Metro features a slightly undersized J body with pickup placement in '60s location. Rosewood boards are combined with alder bodies, and maple boards will have ash bodies.
| The bass was made in 2004; hence, no VTC. It weights at around 8.5 lbs. Great condition.
I'm in absolutely no hurry in parting with this bass, but for the heck of it, if anyone wants this bass I'm willing to trade for the proper american passive jazz bass.
I will ship to the States.
If you want second opinions about the bass, feel free to PM Baird6869.
Thank you for looking!

Man if I had an oly white MM4 you could bet it would be on it's way up north to you for your MV4. I thought that you sold this bass.

But yeah, I've decided that since I've already posted a thread about it, I might as well keep it open until I get the next pay check so I can get the VTC. So if nothing good is offered before Friday I'm keeping this! You never know, maybe someone will show up with one of the custom shops on http://www.themusiczoo.com/fenderbasses.html
You never know!

If this is still here by the end of next week, I'm putting in VTC and Sadowsky single coil and will hopefully keep it for another while! |

Do they sound more j-like than the hum cancelling ones?
Alot of folks do that, I always liked the standard ones, so I was wondering.

I felt that the Sadowsky was "lacking" in passive and started thread about finding a similar bass but passive. Although I have no problem with the standard ones, some guys suggested I switch to the single coils in order to get a more "vintage" sound.
The thread is here: Marcus Miller Jazz vs. Sadowsky
I think the suggestions start on page 3? |
