FS: Sadowsky Metro P/J

Sign in to disble this ad
V.Good condition Sadowsky PJ metro. $1500 Shipped in Canada; $1525 Shipped to the US. Will ship elsewhere, but please contact me first for shipping rate.

Here's the story: I've been un-characterisitcally indecisive about the '75 Precision I was going to sell and have decided to keep it for now, which leaves me with two basses that I'm reluctant to take everywhere.

Ships in the Sadowsky ultra-light case. Overall in V.G. condition with one dent on the back of the neck, which I couldn't capture in a picture, and some swirling by the bridge pickup and pickguard and slight darkening of the fret board between the strings.

Low action, straight neck, good pots, pre-amp, has VTC, D-Tuner etc. Nothing wrong with the bass other than the owner.

Pictures, with and without flash, at this link: http://s148.photobucket.com/albums/s...Sadowsky%20PJ/

As for trades....

Interested in lower value P and P/J basses + cash, older G&L's + cash, maybe an Ampeg all-tube amp a Stingray... I prefer the wider necks.

I'll get it weighed as soon as I can (there's a snow storm happening right now), but using the un-scientific method of comparing it in hand with a bass that I know to be exactly 9 lbs, I would estimate this one at somewhere close to 9.5 lbs, maybe a couple of ounces more.

Sadowsky

Uber-sweet bass bump. I used to own one of these and cry myself to sleep over having sold it.
