FS: Sadowsky Metro RV5

Up for sale is my Sadowsky Metro RV5 in vintage white with a great tortoise shell guard. This has been an awesome bass for me over the past few years but I'm looking to make my way back to four string territory. This has monster tone, low action, and with the preamp you can get anything you want with a simple turn of the knobs.

For all specs please see sadowsky.com

This has seen a ton of shows and has just a few blemishes (pictured) that are all aesthetics and have NO impact at all on tone or playability. There is a nick on the underside of the bass (below the main volume control) and a small amount of "checking" in the clear coat next to the tone control cavity on the top of the bass. Besides that she's a 9 out of 10 easy.

The controls on this one are: (1) main volume (2) pickup pan (3) treble (4) bass + push pull active passive.

The bass includes the original Sadowsky soft shell/hard case that is virtually unused along with a new set of Ernie Ball 5's (45-130).

Asking $1,750 + shipping. Will ship to the CONUS or I travel a ton and may be able to hand deliver this one, let me know where you're at if you're interested and I'll see if we can make that happen.

PM me for more pictures or with any questions - thanks,
Paul

All PM's replied to so far - bass is still up for grabs. I don't have a scale to weight the bass.... It's lite, especially for a 5. My guess is close to 9 tops. I'll try and get an accurate weight on it as soon as I can, just not sure how soon that will be!

Looking at my schedule, I see some North East stuff but nothing in NY anytime too soon.

Thanks for the interest so far.

Wow. Been having big time Sadowsky GAS lately and this doesn't help!!

If I didn't already have a custom Spector on the way this would be gone, methinks.
