For sale only- sorry no Trades. Sadowsky 4 string Metro UV 70 with rosewood board, Ash body with blocks, binding and VTC . Bass is in great condition, with no issues. Plays better and sounds as good as the NYC 4 string I owned. Selling my 4 strings because I am only playing 5 string basses these days. Includes original Sadowsky case in excellent condition. Sorry, I don't have a decent scale to get the exact weight. My guess is that it is a little over 9 lbs. I have had 4 people ask me the weight. If I can acquire a digital scale, I will post the exact weight. Thanks for your interest.

Bass is well balanced and would not have guessed it to be exactly 10.0 lbs. I think the slightly more dense wood contributes to the wonderful tone of this bass. I don't get the emphasis on 8.9 or lighter weight basses, unless of course you have some physical impairment. Great playing, well balanced bass at great price.

Ive got to say.....Ive had SEVERAL Sadowskys. A few Metros and 5 NYC's. I have an ash/maple 4 string Metro that is absolutely incredible. Its tone and playability rival any bass Ive ever owed Good luck with your sale. Its xmas and Im already broke. If this is still around in Feb after Valentines day...Its mine..
