This is a beautiful example of a 2004 Sadowsky NYC Vintage with a awesome maple quilt top,smokin' swamp ash body and superlight at 7.95 lbs..Sounds and plays spectacularly. The color is a 2 tone sunburst w/ tortoise pickguard. Serial number is 416x.
A couple of points about this bass. The neck was profesionally refinished by previous owner. But, let me tell you it feels amazing! Think broken in,smooth a silk feel. It has a medium size nick on bottom edge that I'll try to show in picture. It also several light finish nicks. This was a players instrument. Frets are a 100% no wear! Has Hipshot D-tuner.Sadowsky single coil pick-ups. It really does play and sound amazing as I'm sure any of you who've played or owned a Sadowsky NYC bass know.

This is my dream bass right down to the pickguard color! And at a good price that makes the metro irrelevent. Unfortunately I'll have keep dreaming as being a single man has little appeal to me.

I was corrected by a fellow TB'er that the the body was swamp ash and not Alder. Checked w/ Kevin @ Sadowsky and it is indeed Swamp ash body w/ maple quilt top!!!!!!
