This bass is incredible in every way, from it's incredible burled maple top to its stunning Brazilian Rosewood board.
After I received it, I sent it down to Nino for a fret polish and a setup and it came back singing. Speaking of singing, you can actually hear it on the Jimmy Fallon show when Randy Jackson played it for a jam of "Pants on the Ground"... http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xek...s#.UL5NoZPjmrA
Here are the specs:
Sadowsky NYC JJ5 #5062 (2009)
* Ash Body
* Gallery quality Buckeyed Burl Top
* Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard
* Single Coil Pickups
* 8.0 pounds on my scale which means it's under 8 pounds.
* Clear Guard
* Accent Body Line
* 1.75" Nut
* Original Sadowsky Porta-bag case.
I need to get $4,000 shipped in the US only.
NO INTERNATIONAL SALES!! I cannot take a chance shipping this bass out of the country with the brazilian rosewood.

Quick question- why is there a drill bit in the tool holder on the rear of the headstock? Is this used like a "pin" or "fid" for the truss rod end at the neck heel? Thanks. |

Not a similar bass, the exact bass! Best 5er I've owned. Neck is killer. Sold it to fund a vintage P bass which I'm sure will be for sale soon. I need therapy. Or maybe just more money. Lol. Don't snooze on this one people!
