SOLD Sadowsky RV-4 59 Burst w/VTC Very Sweet

Sign in to disble this ad
My loved but neglected Sadowsky RV4 59 Burst just isn't getting any playtime. Plays and sounds just like a Sadowsky jazz should. The rosewood fretboard is a spectacular example. This bass has been sitting in it's Sadowsky case in my vault and just doesn't get out at all. There is virtually no playwear on this bass except light pickguard swirling. If there is a nick I can't find one. This is of course a used bass and will show something but the condition of it and it's case is "as new". The pictures tell the story.
SOLD
PayPal echeck preferred. US Continental 48.

This fretboard is really one fine piece of Rosewood for sure!
Ouch!

Really Nice Herr Dr. If I hadn't just picked up a UV-70 this would be mine. Nice Grain on the headstock!

Looks like Alder to me - hard to see with all the drool I have to wipe off the screen!

HI

Alder, and a total beauty. Good luck with the sale. Here is an ash body for your viewing. Much wider grain, in general

OK so...

I talked to Alex at Sadowsky and sent him the pics. After showing them around the Sadowsky shop the consensus is... it's alder that looks like swamp ash.
