This is THE best bass I have ever owned/played and I've had alot.
I'm only playing at church and they prefer muddy sansamp tone. :crying:
I can't bear to play this in passive mode through a sansamp. Did it Thurs. at rehearsal and it almost made me cry.
I just want to pass this awesome bass on to someone that can use it where the Sadowsky sound can be appreciated.

Question...sorry...so this is an active bass with a Sadowsky preamp and you were just playing it in passive mode, or a passive bass?

This has the Sadowsky preamp with VTC. Like all Sadowskys it has an active/passive switch. (preamp bypass)
I was playing it in passive mode through a BDDI which doesn't sound bad but it loses all of the character that I liked the Sadowsky preamp for.

change churches. any place that doesn't understand or appreciate a Sadowsky doesn't deserve one. :hiding:
