This bass is gorgeous, and sounds awesome (especially in the mix with a band). I'm just not big on 5-string basses, and I'm having a hard time adjusting to the wide neck. It's 19mm spacing, 34 inch scale, so it's not that it's that big ... just a little awkward for me when switching between basses.
Alder body, morado board, humcancelling pickups, Sadowsky pre with VTC, Sadowsky lightweight case (which is really nice if you're not familiar), and I think it has Sadowsky strings on it. Whatever they are, they're nice.
The action is insanely low on this one -- really easy to play. It's in really nice condition, with some typical play wear (slight dings, some light scratches on the pickguard). The only blemish that comes close to coming out in pictures is a small impression just by the jack, where it looks like someone missed when trying to plug in. I couldn't quite get it to show up, but I will keep trying. It's not bad, and hey, it's on the last place on the bass anyone's going to see.
I am looking for 1785 shipped CONUS; I will ship more or less anywhere at your cost (send me your offers!). I've shipped plenty of instruments overseas, and you can check out my eBay feedback if you want (I'm jakeox there too). PayPal is fine, bank transfer is fine for my Euro friends, I'm flexible.
Here are some pics, more to follow.
