I'm selling my Sadowsky Tokyo RJ5, I bought this used straight from Japan about a year ago. I'm sure if you're interested in this bass you already know about all the unique aspects of this model, not to mention that the Tokyo is becoming highly desirable and rare. Mine is 100% original - Ash body, maple on maple bound and blocked neck, hipshot ultra light tuners, mycarta nut, badass bass V bridge, Tokyo preamp with bass boost/treble boost-cut, Tokyo J 501 pickups, black pickup cover, weighs in a little over 10lb on my bathroom scale, comes with Sadowsky case and case candy. There is one imperfection between the bridge and bridge pickup between the D and G string, small nick that was there when I got it (see pics). There is some light 'funk scratching' on the pickguard, I've gigged the bass about once a week since I got it (I'm sure if you ever wanted a new pickguard that Jeannie's Pickguards still has a RJ5 template since Adrian G had some made for his similar bass). Other than that it is in great shape.
Here are some other TB threads on the same model as mine: return of Godzilla (or: Mike Winnen, look who's back! ) My Sadowsky Tokyo ( Godzilla ) at work...
No Trades, I need to sell this one. I'd really like to get $2200 plus shipping on this since it is in great shape and all original. If using paypal you must cover the fees. I just shipped my Brubaker to a TBer, it cost $80 for USPS priority insured mail from me to continental US. I'm not in a big hurry to sell so I'll leave this up for a while before I think about lowering the price.
(old feedback: andysvec)
PM or email me for any additional information or pictures.
Here are two pics from the store in Japan that I got it from:

I thought the Brubaker was something and now you parade this gem out into the game???? Enough!!! Stop the temptation!!! |

You said it's a little over 10 lbs., is definitely under 11 lbs.?

Actually I think I almost bought yours first but didn't have the money so I referred him to you because I saw your want ad, then once you got it I saw all the pictures and heard all the clips and searched one out for myself. |
