Bought this about a month ago - in as-new condition. Ash body with maple neck and maple board - black blocks and binding - HC pickups - no VTC - Sadowsky lightweight case.
Plays beautifully - great tone - killer neck and finish. Weighs more than the RV/MV series as the UVs have a full size body - my scale says about 10.2 lbs. Doesn't feel too heavy when playing. Never gigged. Used at one rehearsal and to A/B with an RV5.
Since I have and ash/maple 4 - I decided to keep the alder/rosewood 5 for tonal variety and need to part with this one.
Absolutely no issues with this bass.
