FS: SBMM SB-14 / Sterling by Musicman (REPOST)

This bass was originally FT, now FS only and I'm reposting this again.

Recently acquired this on a trade with another TB'er. I intended to use this bass as a backup, but have determined I'm looking for something with a little more finesse, as my more "aggressive" needs are already covered by other basses, and this bass... like it's USA counterpart.... is VERY aggressive.

I've always preferred the Ceramic-loaded Musicmans (the Sterling, the Stingray 5 etc) both for their increased upper midrange bite and the flexibility offered by the 3-position switch.

This is my first experience with the import line, and I'm extremely impressed. In any setting, I can say I would not pass a blind taste test between this bass and my Ernie Ball Sterling Stealth HS... the most brutal sounding bass I have ever experienced. The body is light and the neck is excellent. Fretwork is also impressive for an import, but you can read up on that in any of the various threads about these awesome units elsewhere on TB. Bass is in practically new condition. Will ship with a brand new USA Fender Padded Gigbag and a set of Schaller Straplocks installed

Im being told in private that, even tho many of these have sold for more than $450 here on TB, that they are often seen for less.... I am lowering my ask to $350.

Damn,,you have no idea how much I want to try one of these basses,,and for what you are asking..it is a steal. I,,,,,must,,,,,not,,,,,purchase. I just bought a MIA P Bass so my funds are low. So tempted,,GLWS.

This is a steal! If I had not just purchased a EBMM Sterling, I'd be all over this. These are sweet basses. FYI - NJ craigs list these are usually $425- to $450- firm.
