This bass is amazing. This bass is in immaculate condition. It's got a very tight and articulate sound. It can get the Marcus tone easily, as well as the bridge Growl. Solo the neck pickup and you get an amazing wood tone. I love this bass! The Series/Parallel knob really lets you adjust your functionality if you need more girth, or more clarity. If you haven't heard the 18v LowEnd Preamp, then you should! It's amazingly clear and quiet, with tons of headroom.
Please see the detailed photos for a nice look at this instrument. The Holly top is extremely rare as it has natural flame/curl going on. I tried to capture it as best I could. The neck is fast, yet you can dig in if you like. The only reason I'm selling this bass is because I'm having another one made with MIDI installed, and I'm not really into 24 fret instruments anymore.
Check the Sound Files for some sounds of this bass in action!
Bass recorded direct through a Phil Jones P-1 Preamp.
I'm asking $2800 obo
OR
a slamming vintage P-Bass with a thin neck +/- cash
