I have come to the conclusion that I not only like the sound of a J but the body of a J is a must have for me, so it pains me to do this but I need to let this bass go.
Up for grabs is a sweet sweet bass. A Fernandes P bass copy. I was skeptical when I first bought this bass, however, my skepticism quickly diminished one I played this bass. It is phenominal and I really love the look and sound of the bass, but the body just is not for me. I put hipshot hardware on the bass, but the stock hardware was just as good so it was replaced on the bass. I placed a badass II bridge on the bass, but again I really did prefer the stock bridge to the "upgrade." I've owned several US as well as Mexican Fender P basses and this bass is better than any import i've owned and as good as any US bass that i've owned. You won't be disappointed.
The bass is wired volume only but has a "dummy" tone knob that just needs to be wired to work. No biggie.
I completely shielded the bass. It is dead quiet! No noise on this one.
Negatives:
None of the negatives affect the functionality of the bass. The bass has a ding on the top near the arm contour.
Also, when I tried replacement tuners I had to drill new holes for the tuners. This is no big deal as the old tuners cover most of the holes. The bass functions flawlessly.
PRICE: 175 shipped with the dead quiet shielding job and a new set of Dunlop .45-.105 strings on it.

If you can find one, try the Fernandes jazz bass, I have one and love it, saw a few on the GC used section some time ago, under $200, bought mine for $175.00, looking for a 5'er now, but they are hard to find, good luck with your sale.
Must.. resist.. temptation.. to buy.. silver... bass!
