Just bought this from Tommy (tbone0813) but decided I'd like to get some cash money together toward a new Skjold with some custom features I want, so it's up for grabs. ***UPDATE*** Current pic above
Here's the thread Tommy put up about it, which has his recent pics: F/S Skjold CS5 Mahogany/Quilt Maple
* Skjold 92 body style
* Sapele mahogany body
* Highly figured quilted maple top
* 5 piece maple/purple heart neck
* Maccassar ebony fretboard
* Skjold SC1 pickups
* Skjold/East Deluxe preamp
* 4-way pickup selector switch (bridge pickup, series, parallel, neck pickup)
* black and gold hardware
* 35" scale (feels like 34" with the bridge location, though)
* 18mm string spacing
* between 9.5 and 10 lbs by digital bathroom scale method
Plays like a dream, frets and neck in great shape, no cosmetic or performance issues.
New bass like this from Pete would cost over $4K now. $2400 (USPS MO or Paypal ONLY) takes it, including ground shipping to the lower 48. No international sales - Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada will be negotiable. Regarding trades: it never hurts to ask, but unless there is significant cash to me involved don't be surprised if I politely decline.

I was trying hard to raise the funds to purchase this bass. If it stuck around for 3 more weeks I could have swung the deal , but I knew that it wouldn't. Someone out there is getting a goegeous Skjold!!  Enjoy it!
