Its back on the block...I really need the cash and I'm just playing my other basses more at this point. Specs:
* Skjold offset 92 body style
* Sapele mahogany body
* 5A flamed maple top
* 9 piece maple/purple heart neck
* nicely figured macassar ebony fretboard
* Skjold SC1 pickups
* Skjold/East Deluxe preamp
* 4-way pickup selector switch (bridge pickup, series, parallel, neck pickup)
* black hardware
* 35" scale (feels like 34" with the bridge location, though)
* 18mm string spacing
* between 9.5 and 10 lbs by digital bathroom scale method

What Pete told me about the bass: Quote:
Hey John,
just so you know if I hadn't already told you. This bass was an endorser trade in which means it was sold at a discount to the endorser. When they wanted something different I took it back and Tom Bowlus bought it for basically the endorsement price because he had already ordered like four basses to me. This bass if ordered today is over 4500.00. You won't see this kind of deal again on a bass like this. The bass has optional fingerboard, neck, pickups, top, and finish color. This is truly a one of a kind bass. I hope you get a decent price for it. I don't do endorsements anymore because of this kinds thing. Just thought you should know. You might want to put that in the post. Thanks,
Pete
| I'm asking $2500 shipped in a Gator HSC Pics: The flaws (mentioned in previous owner's thread): Me being a fool with the bass (helps show the size of the bass in relation to a person):

If I had a lot of money, I would have to grab this. Unfortunately, I don't! |

Mr. Skjold backs up his basses 100%! You won't be disappointed with this bass. The seller is pretty cool too! |

Only reason I'm selling is that My wife and I are really short on cash and i can always buy another bass when we have more to play with.
