I absolutely hate to do this because I love this bass but times are tough and I need the extra cash.
For sale, I have my 2003 Spector Euro 4 (Pre LX - made in Spector's Czech factory) in great condition. It's blue/black burst with solid maple body wings. It has a neck thru body, rosewood fretboard, solid brass bridge, Schaller tuners, active EMG P/J pickups and Aguilar OBP-1 preamp. The electronics are wired volume-blend-treble-bass. I've installed a Fishman voltage doubler which allows you to run the 18 volt preamp with one 9 volt battery (Battery does last for a while; does not drain any quicker with the voltage doubler).
This bass plays, feels and sounds great. No issues whatsoever. The neck is great. Minimal, if any at all, fretwear. However, this bass has definitely been played. It has it's share of surface scratches and minor dings; some of which have been touched up with black auto paint (not very noticeable at all). The brass bridge has some fading on it. The most noticable blemishes are a couple of dings in the clear coat along side the side of the fretboard (I captured it in one of the pics). I would consider this all normal wear for a bass this age.
The tuner on the E string was replaced with another Schaller tuner as the original broke; you can see in one of the pics that it is slightly different from the back of the headstock. I've also replaced the stock control knobs with black, rubber EMG knobs. The bass is currently strung up with DR Black Beauties coated strings.
The bass comes with Dunlop stap locks and a faux leather Rok Sak gig bag in great condition.

A brand new Spector Euro LX 4 string would cost you around $2k. Here's a chance to own a Spector at half the price.
PM me if interested. Thanks for checking it out.
