FS Spector Euro 5 Green Solid Flame Maple Wings
I bought a Forte' 5, so this one is redundant.
For sale is a 2001 build (Thanks LimaGuy!) Spector Euro 5 string in emerald green. It has EMG DC pickups (with the quick connect plugs) and an Aguilar OBP-1 pre, the older, bigger style. This is from the solid maple body wing era, and it is flame maple with some very nice grain. It is a 35" scale. I'll post the weight when I get a chance to weight it.
It has 3 blemishes on the body, one under the rear strap pin which loocks like the finish chipped off, but the wood is not damaged (the strap pin screws in fine and you can't see it with a strap).
The second is also on the back, a few inches down, and it is a dent that is thru the finish. No cracks or splintered wood.
The third is bigger than a pin on the front under the pickups, thru the finish but the wood is not damaged.
The bridge has some finish worn off in spots, but no rust and is still fully functional. I did not file the bridge to fit normal end strings, but the 125 D'addario on there now fits, albeit tightly. The nut and tuners work fine and are in great shape. I installed new gold schaller straplocks, and will include the strap ends as well. The frets do show some wear, but no buzzing or fretting out.
Here's the trade post I got it from, used with the poster's permisssion:
His pics are much better than any I'll probably post.
I'm asking $1300 shipped in a new Spector OHSC (from my Forte')
or $1200 shipped in a no name gig bag. I'll take PayPal, or if you've got more than 10 positive feedbacks (and no negatives) I can take a cashier's check or a postal money order, but I will wait for them to clear. Lower 48/CONUS only, please. NO TRADES AT THIS TIME.
Any questions, please let me know. If you're local (Chicago area), we can figure out a price sans shipping.
