Up for sale is a very nice example of a good quality bass at a low price. This is the deal:
I decided I wanted a Spector and that I was going to go back to playing a 4 banger and dropping the E string when I needed to. So, I bought a nice Spector Euro and then 4 days later I bought this online to serve as a back up to my Euro. Well, the Euro came in and I played it for a few days...it was flat out amazing, except, it wasn't a 5 string and I enjoy a 5er more. I started on a 5 so four strings have never been my go to. I ended up selling the Euro and then I received this bad boy. I decided to give it a fair shake and I might like it even though it's a 4 string. No dice. I enjoy playing a 5 string bass and that's what I'll stick with from now on. Onto the bass...
The bass plays effortlessly. It has low action with no buzz and just like my Euro, the notes ring out acoustically. The bass is in near mint shape. No major scratches, dings, or gouges really. A few marks on the headstock is all that I see. The bass has never been gigged either. It comes with a nice set of Black Diamond strings as well.
This finish is now a discontinued finish and i haven't seen many legends with this finish on it. The bass is VERY hard to photograph. It's not solid black or trans black at all. It has a nice bluish hue in some lights.
Priced new this bass runs $699. Check it out at MF and check the near 5 star review while you're at it!
