FS: Squier Classic Vibe - 50s Precision

Sign in to disble this ad
For sale only is a Squier Classic Vibe Precision in Lake Placid Blue. Has an upgraded SD Quarter Pound Single Coil. Original pickup included as well. Once I go the SD installed and played it I kind of wanted to put the original back in. Pickup and control cavities are copper shielded and noise has been reduced considerably for a single coil. You can also see the copper on the pickup in the second pic. Has a couple of dings but nothing major. Can take more pics in the daylight if you want.

I'll also throw in a pickguard that I made. It is not the best craftsmanship, has some uneven routes and a couple of flaws, but from a distance you can't really tell.

Weighs 8.4 lbs

$275 shipped in the 48 states. Paypal OK.

Your sure thats not a teal color? I could have sworn lake placid blue was an intense bright blue. That looks more like metallic teal to me.

It's blue. I need to take a pic in daylight to better show the true color. Thanks

Here's a link to what the color really looks like.

Just curious, are you saying that you like the original pickup better than the SD?

I guess I wasn't blown away by the SD. The stock pickup sounded great. I was surprised.

Little bit better shot of the color:

I did the exact same switch with mine, and I also was not overly impressed with the SD over the stock PU. SD sounds good, but better than original? I dunno.

It's good that you're including the original so buyer can decide.

Anyway, free bump for a very, very nice bass at a great price. I love mine.
