Greetings!

I never thought I would ever be selling this beautiful bass. It's among my favorite instruments that I have owned. There's a magic about it that is hard to explain. The neck is perfect, the pickups sound fantastic, and the build quality is astounding. Squier is definitely doing something right with these beauties.

I have been stricken with GAS for a Lakland so I have to make some room and save up some cash. I am not looking to trade right now. I appreciate the offers but I have a craving that can only be satisfied by a Lakland Jazz.

I am now open to trade offers! I'm not looking for anything in particular so feel free to run anything by me!

There are two small dents in the body. One of them is near the pick guard and the other is on the back of the body, near the edge. They are visible when you look for them but aren't eye sores. The dent on the back of the body was very tough to photograph because my camera wouldn't stay focused. The bottom picture is supposed to be of the back dent. I will try taking another picture of it in different lighting. If I can get a clearer photo, I'll update this thread to include the picture.

If you look at the picture of the front dent (3rd picture), you'll notice that the edge of the pick guard has black on it. The original owner painted the stock tort guard and I used some elbow grease to remove whatever I could. There is still some around the edge but it looks kind of cool. You could take the guard off and scrub it if you don't want the paint. It may take a bit of effort but it should be removable. The tort part of the guard is paint free.

I am asking for $210 shipped anywhere in the continental US. This includes a padded gig bag for safe transport. I will send it out via UPS Ground within one business day of receiving payment. I'll provide a tracking number as soon as I drop the bass off at UPS.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Thank you for looking!

Justin

Help this guy get a Lakie J!!!

I have played a few of these Classic Vibes and these are very nice basses fo the money!

Interestingly, I believe these are made in the same factory as the Lakland Skylines in Indonesia!

To the best of my knowledge, all the Classic Vibes are made in Indonesia, along with the Lakland Skylines, Sterlings by MusicMan, G&L Tributes, and Yamaha BBs. Can't argue with anything in that group.

Thanks for the words of encouragement.

The back of the headstock on my CV 60s Jazz says "Crafted in China", for what it's worth. Regardless of its country of origin, it's a great playing bass. It definitely feels like it'd carry a much higher price tag.

This is still available. I will now consider trades, as well, since I bought my Lakland Skyline DJ4.

I'm always willing to consider basses, amps, cabs, recording gear, and any other cool things.

If this is still for sale in the next few weeks, you should definitely let me know. I've been wanting to buy this exact bass for the past month, I'm just waiting for the money to come in.
