If I could find any details on this (ie, serial #), I'd offer them up... but I got nothin', so I'll just tell you what I can.
Squier II by Fender Precision Bass
Pearl white finish over...? It's a thick body, unlike the new Squiers, which are rather thin
Maple neck (with some figuring), big C shape
Rosewood board, frets are in good shape
Truss rod works, is at neck base
Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder pickup
Alpha pots and an orange capacitor (don't know if it's the Orange Drop)
10.4 lbs
1-5/8" at nut
Strings sound okay (roundwound Daddarios)
Includes basic Kaces gig bag
I took it apart to find a date or serial... all I found was a stamp on the neck in the pocket... "MAR" and either "1A" or "14" (couldn't tell). I took the WHOLE bass apart and cleaned it, then re-assembled with loving care.
The finish has that nice aged look, you can tell when the guard is off... it has tan lines!
I cleaned the body and neck up as well as I could. There are dings and scratches on the body, near the edges, but the neck feels GREAT! Nice and glossy finish. It's no show piece, but it looks good and plays great. (Flatwounds would make this REALLY nice!)
It sounds like a P bass. It plays like a P bass. If you like that sort of thing, this bass is great for you! (me, I'm a 5 string Jazz guy)
$190 shipped to the US, Paypal. (obo)
PM me if you are elsewhere. Trades will be considered, but I'm more looking for cash.

(I fixed the erroneous wiring job and now the bass works correctly)
