FS - Squier Jazz 5 string - Red

Sign in to disble this ad
I am mainly playing 4 strings recently, and have a Stingray5 for sub-E fun when needed. So... selling this Squier Jazz 5 in red w/ rosewood board.

It's pretty much as new - I got it from my dad when he lost interest and it has hardly been played. Neck is straight, it plays great, holds tuning well and everything works perfectly.

$175 shipped to continental US. Paypal is fine. It will ship in an included wood/tolex case. Case is a little rough looking but it will work. Pickup in Buffalo/Rochester, NY area is welcome and I'll consider offers without case for a local deal.

I'll get some pics done if needed after we clean up the Christmas bomb that exploded in our house today. Not much to see except to verify condition - it's clean.

I've been thinking of getting another one. Any mods, or is it stock? Thanks.

Link to pictures. Please let me know if you have any trouble viewing them. It's my first use of "The Cloud" so I have no idea how it is to use for this.

Pics are unretouched, just cropped for sizing. The only blemish I can find is shown in the close-up of the end of the headstock. It is very minor. There's a bit of glare in some of the shots, but hopefully enough angles to see that is glare and not wear. I tried to use a combo of flash and natural (snow storm enhanced) light.

Thinking hard about it. I've got a black one and I love it.

9.5 lbs - bathroom scale. It's lighter than my 4 or 5 string Rays.

As an aside, I have gained weight.

great idea.

It's got a great satin neck and nicer fretwork than it should. I had always thought I'd put an Audere pre in (have one in a Stagg Jag and it kills), and put it in the rotation, but just never got to it. It actually sounds fine stock, but I lost my job a month ago and I'm prioritizing and liquidating a bit...

I just realized I can disassemble the neck and body to reduce shipping overhead. Please feel welcome to shoot me offers if you don't want the case.

I don't mind going either way.

I am mulling over a trade offer.

One last bump for cash - if the thread is open, it's still up for a cash deal.
