You don't see these come up for sale too often and there is good reason! These are considered by most to be the best quality instruments ever made under the Squier name; quality pickups, lightweight tuners, jazz width nut, and solid craftsmanship.
The bass is in great condition. When I purchased it, one of the pots was bad so I had my tech (Forrester Kustoms in Parkville/Baltimore) replace all the pots and put in a new jack too. I had intended to replace the stock pickups but there was no need to- they sound awesome, better than some US P's and Lakland Skylines I have heard. Great punch out of the P pickup.
The only blemishes are a small ding about a quarter of the size of a dime on the back body contour which I could not get to show in a picture, some light swirling on the back, and a small white scuff on the top end of the headstock (pictured). The pickguard has it's share of scratches but it's nothing noticeable.
I am looking to get $300 Dropped to $275 shipped OBO for the bass. Paypal only. No case or gig bag included but if you need one, we can probably work something out there. No trades!

I got rid of my '72 custom P/J and my '78 Jazz and replaced them with a pair of these. One has a standard Fralin P/J set; the other also has a Fralin P/J set, but with a '51-style P in the neck. I seriously prefer my Fralin-ized Pro Tones to my old 1970s Fenders.
My 2 cents,
-GB |

She is doing much better than the initial prognosis indicated. Orange tabbies are the best- I have two! There are 5 permanent cat residents here and I always have fosters from a local rescue too.
Sorry for the derail- bass is still here, price is OBO |

These go for much less than they should.
Good luck, someone will buy this and go "Damn" I never expected this quality. |

To the comment before yours, yes the fretwork is stellar. Overall, it's better made than any MIM Fender I have owned and better than 3 of the 4 Lakland Skylines I've had. If I had to choose between this or the two Lakland Dunns I have played, I would choose this without hesitation. |
