FS - Squier Pro-tone V

Bought this a month or so ago from tb member fullcircle...strung it up with half-rounds, played it at 2 practices/1 sunday morning church service, and it just wasn't quite my thing.

I LOVED the wide neck, spacing/look, but I'm just a sucker for traditional/oldschool p bass tone. Maybe I'm just a moron, but I can't quite get all the way there with this bass. It has a slightly more modern tone. (IMO) It still sounds good, I just don't play it with my other 2 p-basses around.

I got a great deal on it, so even though a few have sold for a smidge higher than this in the last month, I'm not gonna try to make money on this thing. Same price as it was sold to me - 285 + shipping. (CONUS ONLY)

I attached fullcircle's FS post...I can take new pics if needed, but the condition is literally the same as it started. It's been in a climate controlled environment IN its hardshell case for all but 3 hours since I've got it.

FS: Squier Pro-Tone Precision V bass

These are thought of as some of Squier's best basses, free bump!

I bought one of these not long ago. Cleaned it up so the gold tooth pimp quality could shine through and it does. Put some Sadowsky black nickel strings on. I would take it anywhere and play it. Very nice bass with a nicely balanced B string.
These are undervalued. I had a 55-01 Lakland and I would rate this Pro Tone just as good or a little better. The Pro Tone has much better frets and I love the wide neck.

Pick it up! This is priced right.
