So here's yet another of these fine (rare?) basses up for sale. I have two (the other is my main gigging bass) and this one has been my backup. I'm finding I really don't need a backup to the one I gig with, so it's just collecting dust and needs to go.
Check all the other ads and resources for info on this model. I don't have pics at the moment, but this example is in good shape, no issues as far as I can tell except for normal oxidation of the gold plating that happens to all of these over time. Could use a good cleaning but honestly I haven't really played it since buying it used a year ago.
This particular bass has three pickguard mounting screws north of the B string (some have four, some have three). Those with three tend to experience minor arching of the pearloid pickguard by the neck pickup. Not a big deal and it actually creates a great place to hold a pick for you if you use one. This has some minor arching but not much. Certainly not noticeable unless you are looking for it.
I'll take $250 cash, local SoCal sale for this bass (I prefer not to ship). Will post pics soon. Thanks for looking! |
