FS: Squier ProTone 5-String with gig bag

Selling my 97/98 Squier ProTone 5-String bass to help with car payments. The bass is in great shape, hardly a ding a scratch on her. What caught my attention with these ProTone 5's is the 19mm string spacing and 2" nut width. It's very comfortable and familiar if you're used to playing 1.75" Precision necks. Two-piece ash body, stock Mighty Mite dual-coil soapbars. VVT controls. This is currently my lightest bass, coming in at just under 9 pounds.
These basses were made in Korea for only two years (97-98) and their fit and finish is remarkable for the price point. If you're a die-hard Precision player wanting to try a five-string and require the familiar string spacing but don't want to pay a lot, look no further than this bass.
I bought this bass from the original owner who lived in Santa Barbara. The truss works flawlessly and the frets are in nearly-new condition. I don't think this bass was played much, if even taken out of its case/gigbag.
I am including a decent quality gig bag with it. Strung with a newer set of Dunlops nickel rounds. The Dunlop strap locks you see installed will be replaced with the stock strap buttons before shipping.
Asking $295 shipped CONUS.

Had one of these for a couple of years and the build quality, fretwork, finish, and components were equal to or I think better than any Lakland Skyline I have ever owned or picked up.

I can see why these were only made for two years. Someone at Fender said "Wait a minute, we are putting ourselves into a corner we don't want to be in."

You will not find a more quality 5 string bass for this money period.

These are insanely good basses for the money and from what I've seen lately, this is one of the cleanest examples around.
Man, do I wish I could swing it... fricking property tax bill

GLWTS!

Bump for a super cool bass. I had a newer Squier V that had this wide spacing and it was a pleasure to play. I have always been curious about these older Pro Tones.

GLWTS!
