I have a Squier Standard Jazz Bass that I have purchased recently through a pawn shop. I've never seen a Squier like this before, but I am no expert on Squiers. So, I have no idea if this was a limited edition, a custom paint job, or what!?. If you have any idea, let me know!
The bass feels and sounds great, but I got this on an impulse and well...originally it was bills, but now I want a different bass! I guess Jazz basses just aren't my thing.
This bass was also "converted" to a left handed bass before I purchased it. The nut was reversed, and one of the strap buttons was taken off the upper horn and put on the lower horn. I had a local guitar shop put a new nut on this bass to make it right handed again. I also put the strap button back where it's suppose to go. However, this leaves a hole in the lower horn as you can see in one of pics below. There's also some nicks and scratches that I tried to take pictures of, but most will not show up on camera. Most aren't noticeable unless you look for them anyway. The few I could get to show up are pictured below. Finally, the bass must have been on a wall hanger for a long time, as you'll see below too.
