FS: Squier Vintage Modified Precision Bass with upgrades and face lift

Sign in to disble this ad
Up for sale is a VM Precision Bass which I upgraded and did a face lift on. First I applied a 50's style waterslide to the headstock and cleared over it several times. It looks awesome. Then I mounted a real gold anodized aluminum pickguard, a tug bar, and a Dimarzio Split P pickup which really brought this bass to life. These pickups are really amazing. It looks, plays, sounds, and feels absolutely awesome and has fooled countless people at gigs. They're all shocked when I tell them the truth. This one's a real beauty. I'm moving some gear to free up some funds for a Atkinson custom build which will be done soon.

The Badass II bridge is no longer on the bass but will be for sale in the accessories forum.

$275 shipped to the lower 48 states.

I'll try to get some asap. I just learned my grandfather suffered a stroke so I'm headed to South Jersey tonight to see him.

I can tell you that I believe the country of manufacture and serial number were neatly sanded off of the back of the headstock.

I would guess the weight around 9 lbs.

This is seriously a stunning bass and sounds amazing.

According to my home dial scale, the bass weighs approximately 8.5 lbs.

Here are some cell phone photos I snapped of the back of the bass:

I've never noticed that. I feel like it balances well.

I'll throw in a brand new Roadrunner gigbag in for $275 shipped!
