FS: Squier VM '77 Jazz, fantastic bass in like new condition!

This has been my main bass for the past month, but I'm upgrading to a big boy Jazz in the near future!

This bass is an extremely good example of how high quality these basses are for the money. I remember when I originally bought it from Guitar Center, two separate employees stopped and said "oh man, that's the good one!"

The bass is in fantastic condition, looks barely used. Two small, very very very light scratches on the back.

Here's how it sounds: Squier '77 VM Jazz Bass Demo - YouTube

I'm asking for $200 shipped ConUS including gig bag. I wouldn't be upset to keep this as a backup, so price is non-negotiable.

Any interest in trading for a natural VM jazz? I love my bass, but favor the black

No, but thanks! I too prefer the black, so if this bass doesn't sell i'd rather end up with a black than a natural

How's the balance? My natural VM Jazz balances well, but I've tried a couple of Squiers that were badly neck-heavy.

The balance is superb, actually. No neck dive, no discomfort while playing.

I'm interested if the current deal doesn't work out.
