FS Squier VM Jazz

For sale a 2010 4-string Vintage Modified Jazz - made in Indonesia.



A Hipshot three-string retainer has been added, chrome knobs and bridge have been replaced with black Fender replacements. Pots have been upgraded. (Original pots and hardware will come with the bass, if those are preferred to the new ones)

Also comes with DiMarzio DP123 replacement pickups ($100 value) that just need to be installed, if you want to upgrade the pups that come with the bass.

I recently received this from another TBer as partial payment towards a purchase. I'd heard nothing but great things about these basses so I was interested in trying one out. Unfortunately I couldn't get into it - this is not for me.

I've got arthritis in my hands and need a bass that practically plays itself. I think I need to go with high end basses to get the kind of insanely low action I need. I've got a plek'ed Lakland on the way so this Squier has to move to a new home.

I know that many other TBers swear by these basses.

Minus the black knobs and bridge I have the exact same bass (even down to the Hipshot 3 string retainer and the blank scew hole where the original tree was).
I go back and forth between the VM Jazz and my CV 50's P, but usually find myself playing the Jazz.
