FS: Stambaugh Custom 6-String!!!

After much, much, much thought, I've decided to sell this bass. In short, my tastes have changed in the two years since I conceived of this bass, and it's no longer the right bass for me. It needs to go to a good home where someone will play it! Chris Stambaugh brough my ideas to life, and he did fantastic work!!! Here are the specs:

6-Strings - My own body design
Partial Semi-Hollow Black Limba body
Figured Claro Walnut top and back
Ash/Walnut/Maple/Walnut/Ash neck
Macassar Ebony fretboard
35" Scale, 19mm string spacing

Aguilar OBP-3 preamp w/3-way midrange switch and active/passive switch
Custom wound Aero pickups (3-way switch for each; [Single-Coil/Humbucker/Other Single-Coil])
RMC Piezo Pickups (the knob in the 'middle' blends between magnetic and piezo pickups)
RMC polydrive electronics with 13-pin 'midi' output

Knobs are volume, volume, midrange EQ, Bass EQ, master tone, 'midi' volume, piezo/mag blend. And there is a trim pot inside the control cavity for the treble EQ. The two silver switches deal with the 13-pin output. One is a momentary up/down for switching midi banks, and the other is a 3-way for midi only, bass only, and both together. If you're not using midi you can use that as a mute switch too.

Tons of tonal options. Feels and sounds awesome. Think you can handle the beast?

More pictures are here and scattered throughout my photobucket account:

And you can hear it in various settings on my youtube vids:

For sale only, no trades. I'm asking for $2800 shipped and insured, which will include a brand new hardcase (which I'll be buying for it soon).

Damn! This sure is a fun bass to play.

I'm curious what you want instead though!

That's the beautiful thing, I want nothing! No new basses anyways. I'm sticking with my Ken Lawrence as my main electric bass. The $ from this one is going into other things. Custom gigbag for my Kinal acoustic, student loans, a few effects pedals (), some ampage to go with the Read Purity maybe...

Here's the other thread if you want to read more about my decision to sell:
To sell the Stambaugh???
