Spirit XZ-25 Sold Pending Payment.
STAMBAUGH IS SOLD...SOLD....SOLD!!!
For sale is a great Stambaugh Jazz built for Marcus Willet. I purchased it from Marcus about 1.5 years ago. The bass is the same except for set-up to my liking, the installation of a strap button 2” from center on the bottom and because the pick-up covers were so sharp, I used some emery paper to soften the edges.
I purchased it from Marcus for $1450 and I have it available now for $1150 plus shipping.
Specifications:
Body: Korina with tung oil type finish
Neck: Maple, Walnut stripes and pau ferro fingerboard
Tuners: Hipshot Ultralite
Bridge: Hipshot 17mm
Recessed Straplocks & additional strap-button
Pickups: Villex single coil J with midrange booster wired to push/pull tone pot
Outfitted with the Roland GK V-Bass pickup KIT with the volume control only to save space.
Controls layout is neck vol/bridge vol/GK vol/tone w pull mid/Villex mid control. Output jack has 1/4" and 13 pin GK connector.
Scale is 34"
Nut width is 1.705"
Nut thickness is .815"
12th fret thickness is .875"
Comes with hard case.

I also have a Spirit XZ-25 5-string in Honey-burst in excellent condition that is boxed and ready to ship. I'd like $275 plus shipping.
It's been in its case since purchase a few years ago except for about a dozen times.

Total instrument Length: 38 3/8 inches
Width at Bridge, B to G Strings: 64mm
Width at 0-Fret: 45mm
Thickness at 1st Fret: 21.5~22mm
Thickness at 12th Fret: 24mm
The shape of the back of the neck is a “C”.
Regarding shipping: To US locations is obviously easy. International will require that the buyer have an account with an international shipper. You set-up the shipment, pick-up, commercial invoice and I will perform required duties such as safe packaging, completion of the airwaybill at time of pick-up…things that only I can do because I am here. All shipping charges and duties, etc. will be billed directly to your international shipper account.

BTW...I have the truss-rod cover for the Stambaugh. I just have it off for ease of access.
