FS Stambaugh SCNT5 Lined Fretless

Sign in to disble this ad
Stambaugh SCNT5 5 String Fretless Single-Cut Neck-Through, beautiful Bubinga top, Bartolini pickups and electronics. Great bass that I would not be letting go of if my financial situation was a bit better.

From the original for sale post:

"Stambaugh SCNT 35” scale fretless 5 w HSC case.
Bartolini X pickups. Bridge pickup has a 3-way switch on it. Makes a huge difference.
Those also mounted as close to bridge as possible, which also makes a huge difference.
Bartolini NTMB preamp 18volt with 3 position mid switch.
Figured bubinga top.
African mahogany body. Great resonating wood.
Maple neck with purple heart stringers.
Magasser ebony fingerboard
Hipshot (ABM?) bridge and tuners
Dark maple fretlines"

19mm string spacing. The not so accurate bathroom scale puts the weight at about 7 to 8 pounds. Hard shell case included. Bass is in fantastic shape ... fretboard has the markings caused by roundwound strings though.

If this weren't a fretless it likely wouldn't be $1300. Just guessin..

Still, this is an amazing deal on a hand made beauty!
