Like NEW. $350 shipped east coast This is a 5 string Steinberger by Spirit with soft case in like new condition. I bought it new about 2 years ago as a back-up and travel bass but it has seen almost no use and has sat in my studio in its case rarely touched during that time. You can tell that it has been played by looking closely at the frets (no real wear...just visible use) but that is the only evidence of being used that I can find. Neck and body are spotless. A very nice playing 5 string with good action and obviously light weight.
New the bass is $450 WITHOUT case. The case is another $50 so this would be $500 new. I'll sett it for $350 shipped east of the Mississippi, $375 west of it. No trades please.

Hmmmm...

I did one trip this way from Boston to California. I spent my layovers playing bass through a headphone amp. Can't beat that! |

They are very solid, somewhat heavy instruments, and cop a lot of good tones with the standard EMG HZ passives.
Even with three XZs in the house, this one is tempting me. DrD, I wish you were considering trades! Can you clarify which soft case you have? I take it that it's the Synapse bag?

This one says "Spirit, by Steinberger" on the front and looks just like this one: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=...QEwAw&dur=1413
The case is nothing special. It is a bare-bones gig bag without much padding. However, the bass will be well packed and double boxed for safe shipping. This really is a nice playing bass! |
