As I continue to thin the herd, I present to you for sale a Steinberger Spirit XZ2 in black and in amazing condition with original gig bag.
The only thing about this bass that does not scream brand new is that there are a couple of places on the back of the body that look like a brand new bass looks once you take it out of the box and play it, ie a super light scratch or two. Not through the finish and not a full fledged blemish. Just what happens to a lacquer finished black bass.
I believe this is an '07 based on the first two number of the serial and the larger "Select" logo on the EMG pickups.
The bass is a great player and sounds killer. It even sounds good acoustically-- very loud. As with all Steinies it is light and well balanced making this a great bass to play for long gigs. It also screams of the classic Steinberger vibe.
I searched on line for pricing and it looks like this model is no longer being sold. Based on what I see as the going rate for this model second-hand I am asking $320 or best shipped CONUS.
I will consider international sales on a case by case basis so please PM first with your city and postal code. I WILL charge more for international sales given the much higher cost to ship and other costs associated with selling overseas.
