I have decided to sell this because it is getting no use and my cup of gear overfloweth. Piano black with case and stand. No dings, scratches or issues and with aftermarket double bass strings for a more upright sound.

I can take pix on request. But it is minty. And I will sell with a 7 day return built in.

No trades, thanks.

$599 plus actual shipping.

Steinberger WAV

Thanks for the enquiry.

I just (a few minutes ago) had a strong expression of interest from a TBer. I will contact him. If he can't commit, the bass is still available.

Assuming it is, I will take pix first thing tomorrow and post them.

Steinberger pix

Status is that the international offer has gone away due to high duties importing into Spain.

The bass is available first come first served.

These pix are poor, but I have inspected the bass closely and can't find any marks or dings of any kind. The stand has the normal small amount of wear and tear, but nothing that would jeopardize the overall handsomeness on stage.

I thought the ebony boards only came on the upgraded NXT models. So some of the Wav's had ebony too?

Stained Rosewood... very durable.

I own one.. zero wear..

I've played my wav (with a Fishman preamp and obligato strings.) next to the $5,000 NS... there was VERY minimal difference.

$600 is a great deal..

Fingerboard

I didn't know. So I found a set of specs on the web from Music 123 that said their WAV had an ebony board. Others know more than I. Best to assume it is rosewood. But it has not marked from use.

Discontinued

I am probably the last to know that these have been discontinued. Just happened to be at the Gollihur site where they are touting the fact that they have just a few left (none of which are the black finish). The store that sells them near me says that WAVs should sell at a premium because NS Design will not be offering a bass in this price range...with this quality. I can't say. but this, IMHO, is a great bass at a great price.
