FS Steinberger XP-2

Here for sale a piece of Rock history, my '87 Steinberger XP-2 made at the Newburgh factory.
The bass mounts EMGs active p/ups (not the usual passive) with a 9V battery stored right on top of the bridge in the factory original battery compartment.
The neck is in Graphite and the body is maple, it weighs nothing, like all Steinbergers. The neck is straight with no issues, frets have been recently leveled and polished.
There are plenty of small scratches and dings, nothing major, some of them looks like they've been retouched, but all in all is everything you expect with a 24 years old black bass. But, again, the neck is clean with no dings or indentation.
Newer Status Graphite strings and it comes with its original gig bag in decent condition, perfectly functional.
Asking price is $750 shipped ConUs. I hope pictures are showing, I'm posting this with my iPod as my computer is still repairing after a hard drive failure, yuk!

Wow. My first good bass was an xp2. Made in Newburgh. Purchased October 25, 1986 at Focus II Music in Commack, NY. This is bringing me back in a big way. So tempting. Meanwhile here is a bump for bass history indeed.
