I had this listed awhile back in a FT thread, but decided to pull it. I bought this new a few months ago, and It's probably seen 7-10 hours of playing time max. It's never left my house, and it's in excellent condition. No dings, nicks, etc. Weight is right around 10.25 lbs. Asking $475 shipped to the lower 48, USPS MO only. Ships in the Sterling gig bag.
EDIT - No longer interested in trades - I need to sell this!
Pics -
PM me with any questions.
Thanks!

Too bad I'm on the wrong continent.

They do not share any hardware or electronics with their SLO-built brethren, as far as I know. The hardware shares the same look, however, and the electronics seem to be pretty close.
IMO, they are very well built - feels comparable to the Skyline basses I've owned in the past. They are obviously not on par with the US-made basses, but they get very close for half the price (again, IMO).
Perhaps someone better informed than I will chime in. Quote:

| | | | I own this Sterling by music man Ray35 and all I can tell you this is an awesome bass that comes REALLY, I mean, REALLY close to the US Rays.
The bottom line is you get %90 of the sound and % 90 of construction quality of a US Rays for half the price. That really sold me.

My guess is around 10 lbs. Quote:

I'll just have to find a band to hook up with fast so I can justify a purchase.
