up for grabs is a like new ray35. Has a nicely grain ash body and for some reason mine came with some sort of birdseye maple all throughout the back of the neck ...dont really know if this is common but it does add some character to the bass. Actually, I so like the oil/wax finish on my Musicman that I recently stripped the back of the neck on my custom Regenerate Guitar Works bass and Tru-Oil/Waxed it.
Ended up with no difference in look, but mmmmMMmmmm the feel is soooo smooth. And it will only get better with repeated rubbings, oilings and waxings.
...dont really know if this is common but it does add some character to the bass.
